M'encanta tornar a aquest bosc a Lloret de Mar, aprop de casa dels meus pares. He passat molt de temps aquí, passejant, tocant el meu saxo, treballant o simplement relaxant-me. Les formes de les alzines sureres són especial boniques aquí. Les intricades formes de les seves branques m'han inspirat des de que vaig arribar aquí. Aquest petit arbre ha estat sempre un dels meus preferits. De fet no és el primer cop que treballo amb ell, no serà l'últim segurament. Va sobreviure fa un parell d'anys a un incendi, per això la base del seu tronc encara és negra.
Volia, en aquesta intervenció amb fulles de boga, fer destacar la seva curiosa forma. Em va portar 5 hores sota la pluja... Però m'agrada la pau que es respira aquí en aquests dies.
I love return to this forest in Lloret de Mar, close to my parents house. I have spent a lot of time walking, playing, working or simply relaxing here. The cork oaks shape is specially beautiful here. Its intricate branches have inspired me from the beginning. This little one has been always one of my favourite ones. In fact it's not the first time I work with it, and probably will not be the last one. It survived a wild fire two years ago, that's why the base of its trunk stills black.
I wanted to enhance its shape playing with it in this intervention using bulrush leaves. About 5 hours under the rain... but enjoyed breathing the peace that fills this forest in that days.
